Cristina Chavez is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been working in the field of mental health for nearly ten years. She received her master’s in marriage and family therapy from USC.
Cristina has worked in various settings, including community health clinics, nonprofit organizations, and private practice, providing evaluations, therapy, and clinical training. She has worked with multiple populations, including veterans, domestic abuse survivors, cancer patients, and immigrant-origin clients (Spanish-speaking). Her clinical training is in evidence-based care, including cognitive behavioral therapy.
In her therapeutic practice, Cristina seeks to provide a safe space where clients can feel supported and heard. She works collaboratively with her clients to explore positive and constructive ways to help them confront the adversities they face and meet their goals. She aims to help clients develop new insights, attain personal growth, and experience improved emotional well-being.
