About Provider

Since 1985, Dr. Scaglione has been doing therapy, cognitive rehabilitation and neuropsychological assessments with people adjusting to brain injury, stroke, and other neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. She understands that supporting the informed participation of family, friends, and caretakers can be crucial to recovery, compensatory, and adjustment processes. Since the needs of those involved are diverse and complex, her approach is practical and varied. In working with individuals and families, she incorporates humanistic, trauma-informed CBT, mindfulness and other evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches, as well as suggestions for pacing, self-care and cognitive rehab. The aim of recovery is to build a meaningful life that reflects your core values, and it is her privilege to assist people with that goal.
