About Provider

Dr. Sattaur is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist, who has specialized primarily in neuropsychological assessment of neurodegenerative conditions during her late training. She also has a wide range of clinical experience working with children to older adults and has a specific interest in concussion/mild TBI populations. Her prior experience with mild TBI/concussion included working within a sports medicine clinic assessment, where she gained exposure to sports related concussion in high school and college athletes, as well as performing baseline assessments for the Miami Dolphins. She also gained exposure completing NFL Concussion Settlement examinations. 

Dr. Sattaur earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University, with a concentration in neuropsychology. She completed her postdoctoral training at the VA Northern Healthcare System in Sacramento, with a minor rotation at the UC Davis Neurology Clinic. During this time, her clinical work involved working with Veterans and civilians with complex medical, neurological and/or psychiatric comorbidities.

Dr. Sattaur also works as a Central Rater for Cogstate, where she administers telehealth screenings to participants enrolled in clinical trials. She concurrently conducts Social Security Disability evaluations for children, adults, and older adults with various neurological, medical, and/or psychiatric conditions. Dr. Sattaur has a passion for working with students and trainees. She currently supervises externs completing an assessment rotation at Kaiser Permanente and is a lecturer for the UC Berkeley Extension program, where she developed and teaches an introductory neuropsychology course.
