About Provider

Samantha is a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech language pathology in Connecticut and California.   She is a bilingual clinician and has supported many Spanish-speaking clients and their families in fostering improved communication. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting and Translating from Hunter College in 2009. She then pursued a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University in 2014 and received her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University in 2016. Samantha’s clinical experience includes working with pediatric and adult clients in a variety of settings and disorders, including Autism, developmental Delays, Apraxia, Learning Disabilities, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Expressive/Receptive Language Impairments, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Feeding and Swallowing disorders, Motor Speech disorders, Voice disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury, Aphasia and Dementia.  Samantha works closely with individuals and their families to facilitate effective communication skills development in their natural environment.
